APPLICATION
Foreign writers and translators can stay two months. On the tenth floor of the ‘building’, the writer’s flat is located near the harbour and offers stunning views over the estuary and the ocean. There are a large living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a study, a fully equiped kitchen, and wifi connexion.
Grant
The resident receives a grant of 1000 euros per month.
Costs
The resident receives also lodging and utilities. He is responsible for his own transportation and meals.
Requirements
The residency is avalaible to foreign writers living abroad. There is no obligation to speak french. The residents will be selected by a jury of profesionals so called Conseil littéraire upon literary basis. The goal of the residency is to provide time and space to write, study or translate. However, during his stay (up to eight weeks), the writer may be asked, without any obligation, to give guests lectures or to meet the press.

The writers and translators who want to make an application to be accomodated must send to the M.E.E.T :
- a detailed c.v.
- a list of your published books
- a high definition photo
by mail before end of february for n+1 residence.
